A shared record between parties you know

Private Blockchain Development for Companies in Dubai and the UAE

A private, or permissioned, blockchain is run by a defined group of organisations. Only approved members can read or write, which suits businesses that need a shared record but cannot put it on a public network.

We build these remotely from Chittorgarh, India, for companies in the UAE. We have no UAE office. We will say plainly if a simpler tool would do.

Our main page for this service: Blockchain Development.

When a private chain makes sense

It fits when all of these are true:

  • Several independent organisations need to share one record
  • None of them wants to trust another's database
  • The data should not be public
  • The members are known and can be approved

What we would build

A network of nodes run by the members, rules for who may do what, smart contracts for the shared business logic and a web app so staff do not need to see the technology.

We explain which platform we suggest and why before any code is written. If your project needs one we have not used before, we tell you instead of learning on your budget.

Costs that surprise people

A private chain needs every member to run and maintain a node, agree governance and handle upgrades together. That is more work than a shared database, and sometimes the right answer is a shared database with a good audit log.

We would rather tell you now than after you have built it.

Data and governance

Decide early who runs the nodes, who can add a member and where the data may be stored. UAE data rules differ between the mainland and the DIFC and ADGM free zones, and we do not give legal advice, so ask your adviser. We then design to the answer.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have an office in Dubai?

No. Our registered office is in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, India, and we would work with you remotely, over calls, screen sharing and WhatsApp. We have no staff in the UAE. We would rather say that now than have you find out later.

What is the difference between a private chain and a database?

A database has an owner who can change it. A private chain has several owners, and a change needs the agreed rules to be followed. That only matters when you do not want any one party in control.

Can a private chain connect to a public one later?

It can be designed to anchor a fingerprint on a public chain. We discuss whether that is useful for you.

Who owns the code?

You do. Full source code is handed over.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the number of members, the rules and the connections. We quote in writing after a call.

Tell us who needs to share the record
