Website Development for Businesses in Japan
We are Global Technology Solutions, based in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, India. We build websites for businesses in Tokyo, Osaka and across Japan, and we do it remotely. We have no Japanese office, and we work in English.
This matters for a Japanese site, so we say it first: we do not write or translate Japanese. We can build an English site, or a Japanese or bilingual one if the Japanese text comes from a native speaker. Websites start from ₹25,000, including the domain, hosting and one year of AMC (annual maintenance contract), and the price is open to discussion.
Our main page for this service: Website Development.
Who this suits
Most often this is a business in Japan that wants customers abroad to find and trust it, so the site is in English. Others have Japanese copy ready and need a team to build the pages. Both work for us.
If you want an agency that runs every meeting in Japanese, we are not the right fit, and we would rather tell you now.
- Written scope before work starts, so quotes can be compared like for like
- Full source code and Git access handed over to you
- A short weekly walkthrough on video, in English
- 30 days of free fixes after launch
Japanese text on a web page
Japanese does not put spaces between words, so a page needs suitable fonts and line-breaking rules, or lines can split in awkward places. We choose fonts that include the characters you need and test the layout with real text, not placeholders.
We cannot judge the quality of Japanese wording. Have a native speaker read the finished page before it goes live.
What a site for a business in Japan often includes
We go through this list with you before quoting:
- A company profile page with your name, address and what you do
- For online sales, the seller information notice that Japanese law asks for (tokushoho). The wording comes from your adviser
- A contact form that accepts Japanese postal codes and phone numbers
- A LINE contact link, if your customers use it
- Fast loading on a phone, since most visitors arrive on one
The time difference is small
Japan is 3.5 hours ahead of India all year, so your afternoon is our morning and midday.
We agree one weekly call in your afternoon. A short written update goes out at the end of our day, which is late evening for you, so it is waiting for you the next morning.

Can you build the site in Japanese?

Will we own the website?
Yes. Full source code and Git repository access are handed over to you, so you are not locked in.
