Two kinds of store for Japan
The first is a Japan-based seller who wants overseas customers. That store is in English, with international shipping and prices shown in a currency buyers understand. This is where we are most useful.
The second sells to Japanese customers. We can build the store to carry Japanese text, but the wording must come from a native speaker, and the checkout should be reviewed by someone who knows how Japanese customers buy.
What a store for Japan usually needs
We go through this list with you before quoting:
- Prices in yen for local buyers, shown with tax the way your adviser says
- The seller information notice that Japanese law asks for on online shops (tokushoho), with wording from your adviser
- Payment by card, and convenience-store or bank payment if you offer them. Name the provider before we quote
- Forms that accept Japanese addresses and postal codes
- Couriers and tracking, if you ship from Japan
Your own store and the marketplaces
Many Japanese sellers already sell on large marketplaces. Your own store is where repeat customers can order without marketplace fees, and where you control the brand. It does not replace the marketplaces overnight.
After launch
You receive the full source code. For 30 days after launch we fix problems at no charge. Search visibility is a separate service, and nobody can honestly promise a position on Google.

Do you have an office in Japan?
No. Our registered office is in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, India, and we would work with you remotely, over video calls, screen sharing and chat. We have no staff in Japan. We would rather say that now than have you find out later.
Can the store be in Japanese?
The store can be built to carry Japanese text. The wording should come from a native speaker, because we do not write or translate Japanese.
Can you connect convenience-store payment?
It depends on the payment provider you use. Name it before we quote. We say plainly whether we have used it, and we test in its sandbox before real money moves.
Do you speak Japanese?
No. We work in English, by video call, email and chat. If your team needs everything in Japanese, we are not the right fit, and we would rather say so now.
