What we have built
Our own work shows what we are comfortable taking on:

Written specifications before building
If your team works from detailed written specifications, that suits us. Before building, we write down the requirements, list every screen, describe what each one does and ask you to confirm them. We also keep a list of the tests we run before each handover.
Writing this first takes time, but a change costs far less on paper than in finished code.
Language and communication
We work in English, by video call, email and chat. We do not hold meetings in Japanese, and we cannot write Japanese documents. If the interface should be in Japanese, the wording should come from a native speaker, and we build the screens to carry it.
Tell us at the start how your team prefers to communicate, so we can say honestly whether it will work.
Personal data
Japan has its own personal information protection law, the APPI. If the software holds customer or employee data, ask your adviser what applies to you.
Tell us before we choose hosting if your rules say where data may be stored or sent. It is far easier to plan for it at the start than to move a live system later.
Frequently asked questions
Do you have an office in Japan?
No. Our registered office is in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, India, and we would work with you remotely, over video calls, screen sharing and chat. We have no staff in Japan. We would rather say that now than have you find out later.
Do you work in Japanese?
No. We work in English. If your team needs Japanese-language meetings or documents, we are not the right fit, and we would rather say so now.
Can we use Zavik as it is?
Zavik is our own hosted business platform, with HR, sales, finance, inventory and purchasing under one login. Whether it fits your payroll, tax and language needs in Japan is something we check with you first, not something we assume.
Who owns the software you build for us?
For custom projects you do. Source code ownership is part of what we deliver. Zavik is different: it is our own product, used as a hosted service.
