AI Data Annotation for Teams Building AI in Germany
Machine learning models learn from labelled examples, and someone has to do the labelling carefully. We do that work remotely from Chittorgarh, India, for AI teams that need more hands than they have. We have no German office, and we work in English.
Germany has strong automotive, industrial and robotics teams that need images and sensor data labelled. If that is you, we would like to start with a small pilot batch, so you can judge the quality before you commit more.
Our main page for this service: AI Data Annotation.
What we label
The work we do falls into a few types:
- 2D and 3D bounding boxes for images and video
- Polygon segmentation for images that need exact outlines
- 3D LiDAR point clouds
- Multilingual speech transcription, with timestamps and review
Data protection and the GDPR
We agree who may see the data, and sign an NDA, before the first file is shared. Images of people and number plates are personal data under the GDPR. Tell us before sharing, and check with your data protection adviser.
Tell us whether the data must stay in the EU. We say plainly what we can arrange before you commit.
The shared working day
Germany is 3.5 hours behind India in summer and 4.5 hours behind in winter, so most of your working day overlaps with ours.
That makes questions about the labelling guide easy to settle the same day. We agree the turnaround for each batch during the pilot.
How a pilot works
You send a small sample. We agree a written labelling guide with you, label the batch, and you check the result. Only then do we talk about volume.
Frequently asked questions
Do you have an office in Germany?
No. Our registered office is in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, India, and we would work with you remotely, over video calls, screen sharing and chat. We have no staff in Germany. We would rather say that now than have you find out later.
Do you label German speech or text?
Tell us exactly what the data is. We do multilingual speech transcription, but we will say plainly whether we can cover German after looking at a sample. We will not claim it before then.
Can we start with a small batch?
Yes, and we recommend it. A small pilot shows you the quality and shows us whether the labelling guide is clear.
How is our data kept private?
We agree who may see it and sign an NDA before the first file is shared. Tell us about any special handling your data needs and we will say whether we can meet it.
How much does annotation cost?
It depends on the data type, the volume and how detailed the labels are. We quote after seeing a sample.
