Day-to-day tracking is built around the records HR actually needs:
- Attendance with statuses such as Present, Late and Work from home
- Leave requests with approval, plus unpaid leave and short leave

From attendance to payslip
Each month Zavik works out salary from the base salary and the days a person was present, on approved leave or on unpaid leave. It then creates payslips, and salary can be paid out through RazorpayX.
Beyond payroll, the same module includes onboarding, recruitment, performance reviews, benefits, compensation bands and a skills matrix.
What it does not do
Zavik does not calculate PF, ESI, TDS or professional tax deductions. Payroll is worked out from base salary and attendance. If statutory deductions are part of your monthly process, confirm how you will handle them before you choose a tool, and ask us if you want to talk it through.

Frequently asked questions
Can employees mark work from home?
Yes. Work from home is one of the attendance statuses Zavik records, alongside Present and Late.
How does leave affect salary?
Approved paid leave counts as payable days. Unpaid leave reduces the payable days, and salary is worked out from the days that remain.
Does Zavik calculate PF, ESI or TDS?
No. Zavik does not calculate PF, ESI, TDS or professional tax. It works salary out from base salary and attendance.
Can we import our employees?
Yes. You can bulk-import your employee list from a CSV after you set up your workspace.
