A VAPT, short for vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, is a controlled attempt to break into your website, app or network. The idea is that someone on your side finds the weak spots before someone else does.

Indian rules and customers
Indian businesses may meet rules from CERT-In, from sector regulators such as those for banks and securities, and from the Digital Personal Data Protection Act. Some customers, especially banks and government bodies, ask for a security audit by an auditor from an approved list.

What a test cannot do
No test proves that a system is secure. It shows what we could and could not get into on the day, with the tools and time we had. That is why we test again after fixes, and why security is not a one-off job.

We agree the scope and the timing with you before anything starts, so you know what will be tested and when.
Do you hold an approval from CERT-In?
We do not claim one on this page. If your customer or regulator requires an approved auditor, tell us first. We would rather say no than let you rely on something we do not hold.
How much does a VAPT cost in India?
It depends on how many applications, APIs and servers are in scope. We quote in writing after a short call about what you run.
Can you help us fix what you find?
The report gives your developer a line-by-line list of what to change, and we retest after the fixes. If you want help beyond that, talk to us.
Is penetration testing legal?
Yes, when the owner of the system gives written permission and the scope is agreed. Testing a system without permission is illegal in most countries. That is why we agree the scope and the timing with you in writing before anything starts.
What tools are used for VAPT?
Testers commonly use tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP and Nmap. A tool only gives a list of leads. Scanners miss flaws in business logic and raise false alarms, so every finding should be checked by a person before it goes into a report.
Will AI replace penetration testers?
AI tools are speeding up scanning and note-taking. Deciding which weakness matters to your business, and linking small findings into a real attack path, still takes a person. Treat the output of a tool as a starting point, not a report.
